Flapper metal belt

This is a 31" long silver colored metal belt with an art deco style buckle up for sale on eBay. It is constructed of twisted links of base metal, with a scalloped edge. The buckle is a square geometrical design. It is adjustable if you fasten it on a link rather than the metal hasp. This piece belonged to my grandmother, who collected jewelry all her 98 years. This looks like it dates from the stylish flapper era. I believe it is a decorative belt which is meant to hang below the waist. My grandmother was a slim phys-ed teacher, and the belt hangs somewhat low on me (I have a 30" waist). It has a worn patina.
